Under general direction, creates and designs using AutoCAD software to convert engineering designs and changes into working documents. Maintain integrity of the NMCI SFDT Configuration Mgt database. Conceptualizes designs, constructs, tests, implements and optimizes basic infrastructure systems that enable and support our engineering/installation functions.

·   Create and update designs using established standards for Server Farms (SF) and related facilities floor plan layouts and rack elevations.

Assigned to the LM Facilities Engineering department, duties include constructing proposed layouts from design concepts from LM designers/engineers.  Work requires field checking areas for existing conditions so the project could properly reflect existing layouts for changes to proposed layouts.  This also required some Architectural, Electrical, IT and mechanical changes to drawings as well as furniture layouts.  Duties also included Electrical Projects as directed by Electrical Engineer and updating drawings for master’s database to reflect As-Built changes to the drawings.  I also was responsible for creating 3D blocks for new equipment for the facility.  This was to verify available space.
